Our Story
The name Goldie’s comes from the owners great grandmother, who took exceptional care of Marc when he was young. In honor of her memory, Marc developed a passion for caring for vulnerable and elderly adults. In 2003, Marc opened an assisted living facility in the Pimlico neighborhood in Northwest Baltimore, which he operates to this day. Wanting to start a business that supported the emotional and social life of participants through comprehensive activities programming and access to medical therapies and appointments, he and his wife Towanda started Goldie’s as an an enhancement to the lives the elderly whom they are passionate about serving..
